These are the Kenyan ladies who are best dressed in the news anchor game. From being best dressed to being great women every girl wants to be.

Here are some of Kenya’s best female TV personalities.

Lilian Muli

She started her TV career on KTN in 2005. She moved to Citizen TV in 2010. Muli is currently the senior news anchor. She also hosts or has hosted Fashion Watch Show, Slim Possible and One on One.

Betty Kyalo

She is one of Kenya’s favourite media darlings. A well-known petrol head with an affinity for the Subaru Impreza WRX according to Soft Kenya. She is also a test driver.

Anne Kiguta

Senior anchor at Royal Media, also last held the position of chief anchor and current affairs at KTN. She pioneered Checkpoint and KTN Sunday Night.

Kiguta is a nutrition advocate with Save The Children.

She started out as youth talk show host with Hope FM then joined Capital FM, KTN in 2011 and ultimately Royal Media in 2013.

She is the primetime news anchor on NTV’s Weekend Edition. Host and producer of Women & Power and Victoria’s Lounge. She worked at Capital FM then did freelance public relations work in the US before returning to Kenya.

Edith Kimani

She is the East African correspondent at Deutche Welle. She won the 2009 KTN competition called The Presenter. She landed a job as an anchor with the same channel where she stayed until 2015.

Janet Mbugua

She is the powerful trifecta of media personality, anchor and actress. She worked at KTN then ended up at Citizen TV where she was Evening News Anchor. She is now a Red Cross ambassador, founder of Media Avenue Limited and part of the Inua Dada Campaign.

Amina Abdi

She recently resigned from her role as talk show host on K24. She was a radio presenter at Capital FM and a singer.

Julie Gichuru

One of the most accomplished women in Kenyan media, she is a Kenyan Entrepreneur and Media Personality with investments in media, fashion retail and entertainment.

Gichuru is an Independent Director on the Boards of Brand KENYA Board and Acumen Communications Ltd and is a Fellow and Trustee of the Africa Leadership Initiative EA.

She started on Kenya's first investigative stories, The Inside Story on KTN to current affairs TV shows on NTV.

Her media company oversees the production of high quality African content and she is a recipient of Martin Luther King Salute to Greatness Award.
